Introduction

Cutting pick is a kind of part mounted on the mining and excavation machine. It is mainly suitable for shearers, road-headers, milling machines and other equipment.
  • Application scenarios: road milling, open pit mining, ground leveling, milling machines, rotary drilling rigs, trenching machines, horizontal drilling rigs, mining.

Composition

  • Pick head: It is usually made of tungsten carbide, which undertakes the functions of rotary digging and chiseling.
  • Pick seat: It is used to fix the pick head and play the role of supporting and fastening.
  • Pick shank: Connect the pick base on the output end of the equipment to fix the pick.
  • Wear-resistant coating: To solve the problem of rapid wear and failure of the pick during coal mining, an annular belt with a width of about 20~30mm and a thickness of 2~3mm is overlaid in the circumferential direction below the pick head by overlay welding. This ring-shaped belt is called the surfacing anti-abrasion coatings.

2. Conical Pick Tools

Uses: It is used together with the coal shearer and is suitable for coal mining.

Classification: Picks with step shank and picks without step shank

Advantage:

Carbide button tips

The product strength is low, and it is easy to collapse or break under severe working conditions. The applicable working condition of the product is narrow.

2. The full alloy is more resistant to impact and less likely to break. It is suitable for a wide range of working conditions.
The alloy cost of general hard geological products is relatively high, and the rock-breaking resistance increases.
Shallow buried depth 1. It is suitable for soft geology.
2. Weak impact has lower requirements for welding.
3. Shallow buried depth can reduce costs and improve cost performance.
The weld area is small, and the tips is easier to fall off. The applicable working condition of the product is narrow.

Carbide mushroom tips

Bottom column alloy 1. It is suitable for hard geology.
2. The thick alloy is more resistant to impact and less likely to break.
Generally, the alloy cost of hard geological products is high, the steel of the tooth guard becomes thinner, and the alloy is easy to fall off during partial wear.
